By organising our events we bring people from a whole range of backgrounds together. Our volunteers come from across Tower Hamlets, London, the UK and the World. We all share one objective of making our neighbourhoods better places to work, play and live in.

Stepney City FARM
We meet at Stepney City Farm by the big barn in the centre of the farm.
Poplar – BarTLett Park
We meet by Poplar Union on the canal side of the park.
Wapping Lane
We meet on Wapping Lane, opposite Wapping Green.
Limehouse
We meet at the Yurt Café near the Butcher Row entrance.
Mile end
We meet on Mile End Road opposite Mile End London Underground Station.
Shadwell – Rope walk Gardens
We meet at Rope Walk Gardens near the corner of Christian St and Burslem St.
We work well with others
We have collected over 1,000 bags of rubbish off the streets of Tower Hamlets so we know how important it is to work together. Whether it’s with the council or our litter partners like Clean-Up UK and Keep Britain Tidy we’re really keen to get to know our neighbours and those who care about our environment.

October in Wapping
A slightly chilly day (though it was noted that some volunteers resolutely decided to wear t-shirt and shorts). Another excellent turnout with 35 volunteers including several friends from JRS. Stepney – October
October started with a bang with Danny and Mary holding the fort in Stepney at the farm. As we move out of the warm weather, some of the grot spots are thankfully diminished!
WaSh Wombles X Wapping Running Club
Great to be hosted by Wapping Running Club today. We had 27 volunteers who collect a fantastic 39 bags full of 82.5kg of rubbish!
